First FEGA Sweden submissions from Lund University completed
Pilot datasets from Lund University have now been deposited in FEGA Sweden.
During the summer of 2025, Lund University completed its first submissions of sensitive human data to FEGA Sweden (studies EGAS50000001084 and EGAS50000001085). The submissions were carried out using the practical procedures for preparing and depositing data that FEGA Sweden and Lund University agreed on earlier this year, building on the approach previously developed together with Uppsala University.
With contributions now from both Uppsala University and Lund University, we have a concrete, reusable example of how Swedish universities can make controlled-access human data available in a secure and compliant way.
Based on these experiences, FEGA Sweden is continuing work to onboard additional universities, with the goal of offering a clear and well-defined path from local data management to long-term deposition and controlled access via FEGA Sweden.
